Belle had strayed away from her sister, they had tried to stay around each other as much as possible. It was there fourth year but they still felt isolated, definatly now that Voldemort was in power. But for them, they believed they were witches not muggles.
They had powers, they had abilities like no other muggles. Just because there parents didn't, doesn't mean they had to be stuck being hated. Anna and her on there first day pledged to never leave each other's sides.
But they ended up being in seperate houses, so the pledge was for as long as they can be together they would be. But now, Belle was sick of her sisters annoying voice, telling her what she should be doing. She wanted to do something else, something fun and exciting. But Anna would never approve. She was such a worrywart.
Belle was twirling her long hair, she was wearing her school robes, though she wished she had on some normal clothes. But instead here she was staring into the distance with her potions book in her hands opened to the page she was supposed to be reading. She was no good at this, it was her weakest subject, but she wished to be an auror, and to do so she had to study hard.
She usually had Anna totor her, but she needed to get this done by herself. It was just so hard to concentrate...
A centaur was at the edge of the forbidden forest as she sat there. She waved to it, forgetting about her homework completly. This was the way to do something fun and exciting.
She knew that she'd get introuble but she wanted to do it anyway. She stood up, leaving everything behind her and began the walk to the forest. She looked to check no one was watching and slipped in,"Lumos."
She knew she could probably die, but she was exceptional at charms and spells was her fortay. She had even secretly studied the forbidden spells out of curiousity and a need to want to know what they are.
She heard a twig break and spun around, ready to fight what was with her.

Avery trudged back to the castle through the Forbidden Forest, mumbling to herself.
"Avery, I do not care" her mother scolded her for being outside of the castle.
Was her mother such a nag? Avery knew plenty well enough that she and her father both did this same exact thing at her age. It wasn't something she was proud, taking the same enjoyment from breaking the rules that her parents did but she was sick of sitting in the common room. As she walked back, Avery dared for something bad to happen to her.
"That'll show her" She retorded to herself then cursed under her breath when she was almost sure her mother could still hear that. For sure, Avery would hear about it at a later date.
As she walked, Avery heard a small thought float through her mind that wasn't her own. Taking in a short breath, she was on the lookout, trying to find the source. Something about a sister and potions?
Avery shook her head at the stupidity of some people. Of all the things to worry about, and it was potions? How about the fact that people were getting killed daily, or going missing. Families were being ripped apart still and things were only going to get worse.
As she took slow and deliberate steps, Avery spotted a small figure ahead of her, but facing toward her. She ducked, and snuck around to be behind the girl. Avery didn't know her name, but new she was muggle born. Avery merely grinned to herself as she thought about, but stepped on a stick in her attempt to get closer.
Seeing the girls wand, Avery raised an eyebrow in a mocking sort of way. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me..."

When Belle got a look at the girl in front of her she lowered her wand slowly. It was Avery, yes she knew the girls name but she was never ever sure if this girl knew her.
She was a pureblood. Oh, how Belle was utterly jealous of her luck in being born into such a thing. How good it would feel not to worry about dieing any second. Not worrying about fitting in with everyone else.
She had admired Avery since they both were first years. She sat in the compartment across from Avery with Anna, but while Anna blabbed Belle's ear off, well she stared at Avery.
She was pretty too, almost like a doll, a beautiful doll. Oh how that made Belle feel ugly. Belle felt that her looks were just normal, nothing to set her to being different then everyone else.
See Anna, now Anna was way prettier and way smarter then Belle. Or that was what she believed anyway. Life for her was being the one failing school, she never had much friends. No one wanted to hang out with the weird girl. Though she once had a best friend, no, she would not think about that. Not today anyway. Nope, never.
"Hi Avery," she finally said after her huge internal babble. God was she insane or what. no..your just unigue she mentally told herself. "You scared me, I wasn't sure what was behind me in here."

What was worse then someone who was considered a mudblood? A mudblood that had to confidence in themselves. It was sickening to Avery that this girl felt so sorry for herself, and then did nothing to change it.
As the girl thought about the capartment they had shared, she became a little uncomfortable. Though, it wasn't completely clear to Avery why this girl was so amazed by her. As far as Avery could pick up, Belle hadn't even thought about her parents.
Avery let her eyes turn to slits as the girl apologized. "Perhaps you shouldn't be in here, if you can't handle the stress Belle" Avery pushed some hair back so that it stretched down her back, and walked toward Belle.

Belle felt her body stiffen at the sound of Avery's words. Why was she giving her the cold shoulder. God, this was annoying her now. She felt a small pout form on her lips as she scratched at her arm.
"I just thought....that..." She looked away as fast as she could. What did she think? That she could actually be brave enough to come in here and not be on edge.
"I thought that I could escape the hassle of my sister," she finished blandly. It was partially true,"And I wanted to try something new." That was even more true. She was sick of living in a bubble of nonchalance and the same thing everyday, it was the most annoying thing ever.

Avery grinned a little bit as a gust of wind pushed some of her hair out of her face. She looked to the sky for a moment, curious where the wind had come from but decided that it didn't matter. Looking back at Belle, she decided that she was enjoying herself. Not because she was in the company of Belle, but because she appeared to have some power for her. Avery lived for those that were jealous of her, or scared of her. Intimating?? It was funny, that someone would be afriad of Avery or at least she thought it was.
Avery was a very small girl, small form, delicate. She supposed it was her parents doing, striking fear in so many people.
"You have no idea what you though, or what your thinking" She spat at the girl. Why was Avery taking her anger out on Belle? Simply because she could, and Belle was there. This was a problem she had with herself, when Avery was angry at her mother or anyone else, she would take it out on the first person she saw. It didn't matter who they were, or if she even knew them.
"It's apparent that the forest is to stressful for your small mind, so perhaps you should go and pout elsewhere while the rest of us deal with the shit going on in here don't you think Belle?"

Belle felt her body tremble, what did she do to Avery? She had no clue, she didn't even remember talking to her ever before. She admired her from afar, but she never quiet knew what she was doing.
She stepped back,"I know what I'm thinking." She felt her face flush. "I wanted to get into trouble, do something bad." The forbidden forest had nothing to do with it. Avery was the stress.
She just refused to notice it, because she wanted to have the girl quickly forgive her and never be mad at her. Because Belle secretly wished she was Avery. To bad it wasn't so secretive.

Avery merely grinned at the girl, a small laugh of amusement came through her slightly parted, simi-glossed lips. She walked towards the girl, slowly as she let her hands brush against the tree's and tall grass as she passed them. Belle was the kinda girl that anyone could step on, and it would be very easy for Avery to do the same thing but perhaps what this girl needed was something else.
"Belle, you should never want to be someone else, but instead be that person. Do you understand?" Not many people knew about Avery and her ability to read minds. It wasn't something she was proud, because her mother had always used it in such cruel ways. Avery figured though, for the purpose of this conversation, maybe she could use it to her advantage. To try and clue Belle in on the fact that she would always know what the girl was thinking. As sort of a power thing perhaps.
"And what if" Avery reached the girl, and stepped behind as she put her fingers through Belle's hair. "Just what if, I helped you to be become more like myself. Because I myself don't go looking for trouble, but instead tend to create the trouble.." Avery stopped circling Belle when she stood in front of her again.
"Then you wouldn't have to feel like you do anymore. To come into such a dangerous place, just to escape your pathetic sister?? Please, don't run from your problems. It's extremely unattractive"

Belle’s eyes widened when she realized Avery read her mind. She froze, nibbling on her lip, oh god she wanted this to end so badly. “I..Yes I understand,” she finished weakly. Her knees felt like they would buckle any minute now and she had no clue what to do. She was now more afraid of Avery than she had been before
”I would be grateful Avery,” she said, her eyes lighting up at the concept of being like this girl. What if it all was possible, that Belle could finally be what she always dreamed herself to be. “I’d do anything,” she added softly.
Belle closed her eyes, she had always knew she was pathetic, but it hurt to here it from someone elses lips. “I’m sorry,” she said, much like herself. She was always apologizing never just taking what she did and making the best of it.
