,NICKNAMES: luke, mike, hook, et cetera. you can call lukas just about anything and he'll answer to it. seriously. if you call out "hey green eyes!" he'll turn and be like, "uh... do you mean me?"
,GENDER: male
,SEXUAL ORIENTATION: bi-sexual, though he doesn't quite realize it yet. he still dates girls and likes them and all that other stuff, but he's also quite into males and finds himself dreaming about them. he just doesn't realize that means he's bi-sexual. he just keeps his dreams and things to himself.
,AGE/D.O.B: fifteen, july third, 1984
,HOUSE: ravenclaw
,OCCUPATION: student
,BLOOD STATUS: half-blood

,HAIR: his hair is a dark brown color currently, though it has a weird tendency to sometimes look brighter, and some have mistaken it for a light brown, sometimes a dirty blond. it all depends on his hair style. he currently has it cut fairly short, which is why it looks darker. if he were to have it grow longer, it would look lighter.
,EYES: his eyes are a bright green color, and really stand out. in the sense that if you were to be glancing around a crowded hallway, you would immediately notice his green eyes amidst a sea of other colors. they're that bright.
,BODY AND HEIGHT: lukas stands at five feet, seven inches. although he is younger than his sisters, he is quite a bit taller than them, and often tries to use this to his advantange. the most he can usually do with this information is tease them, sadly. as a young child, lukas loved to play basketball, and played on his school's team until he was ten, and found out he would be going to hogwarts the next year. he plays whenever he's home during the holidays, and therefore has a bit of a muscular physique, though it's not overly noticable.
,MARKINGS: he doesn't have any particular markings, to be honest.
,CLOTHING/STYLE: luke here will wear whatever he's in the mood to wear. usually, it's bright colors to match his mood, but sometimes he wears darker colors.

,PRIORITIES:
lukas has two big dreams. one if to one day become a professional basketball player, because he's always had a thing for basketball, and loves it to death. he will literally have his father send him an owl at the end of each week with the details of every basketball that had taken game since the last owl was sent.
his second dream, which is the one he's really hoping for right now, is to become an auror. sure, he doesn't exactly have the grades right now to become an auror, but he's really trying, and it's pretty much his dream job. just the idea of hunting down death eaters and sending them to azkaban so the world can become a better place really appeals to him. he wants the world to be a safe place for his future children.
of course, if none of those work out, he would like to be a muggle school teacher, mostly to follow in his father's footsteps.
,BOGGART:
there really isn't much that lukas is afraid of. he's secretly afraid of commitment, though he will give it a try if he thinks they might be worth it, instead of them just being a good friend.
now, lukas' greatest fear doesn't have anything to do with snakes, or clowns, or anything of that sort. it's the idea that his mother actually did die due to complications during her pregnancy with him. his dementor takes the form of his his mother bloodied and broken, just barely hanging on to life, and blaming him for her death.
,ERISED:
lukas' greatest dream would be to become someone his dad will be proud of. he isn't really too concerned with what it is he'll have to do to make his dad proud, he just wants his dad to be proud of him.
,VERITASERUM:
to be honest with you, lukas likes october more than he likes mae, though he would never admit that, since he loves them both and would never want to hurt either of them. the only reason he really likes october more than mae is because he and october are more alike, personality wise, whereas he and mae kind of seem to be polar opposites.
also, he has quite a big crush on violet hawthorne, though that is something he would never admit to anyone, seeing as she seems to be quite the catch with other guys. he's heard a certain rumor about violet hooking up with a certain slytherin who is now graduated. and let me tell you, he felt like his heart had been ripped out when he heard about it. of course, he's never told anyone about what he heard, and he likely never will, but still... the fact it's possible that violet might have hooked up with a slytherin really hurt him.
,PATRONUS:
a german shepherd puppy - known for being direct and fearless, but not hostile, full of expression, self-confidence, and a certain aloofness that does not lend itself to immediate and indiscriminate friendships, which describes lukas completely.
lukas' best memory would probably be the day he found out that he, too, would be going to hogwarts. when his older twin sisters received their letters, he was quite saddened by the fact he would be separated from them for approximately ten months, and that he could not go with them. so when he received his letter, you can imagine how happy he was.
,PENSIEVE:
learning that his mother died just a few weeks after he was born. his sister, october, told him this when he was around seven, and ever since, he's always just assumed that it was his fault. in his mind, if he had never been born, his mother wouldn't be dead. in a sense, he thinks she might have had problems while she was pregnant with him.
,PERSONALITY OVERVIEW:
like a german shepherd, lukas is the most loyal boy you could ever meet. dead serious. once you're his friend, he will always be there for you, no matter what. when one of his friends is in need, he will drop anything he is doing to run to their side and help them get through whatever it is they're going through. it could be one of his female friends getting dumped - he would be there for her as soon as he found out, which would probably be about five minutes after it happened. and if one of his friend's broke their arm playing a quidditch game, he would be the first one to their side to see how badly hurt they were. he is also very trusting, something that is usually his downfall. when you meet him, the moment you shake his hand, he trusts you. he's the type of guy that will give everyone a chance, even though a lot of those people shouldn't be given a single chance. the easiest way to describe lukas to someone is to say "think of a german shepherd". that is him, to put it simply.
now, everyone has their flaws, and lukas definitely has one. he has ADD, and it shows really easily. he is very easily distracted, in the sense that he could be listening in class, and suddenly be so absorbed in picking at his fingernails that the outside world is lost to him. he is constantly absorbed in his thoughts, and is always over analyzing things, but his over analyzation never gets him anywhere. he is also easily fooled, thanks to the fact he is always so trusting of people he doesn't know. due to the fact he's usually lost in thought, when he's traveling down the halls at hogwarts, he is often walking in a zigzag, and is constantly running into people, because if he doesn't focus precisely on where's he's walking, he walks quite like a drunk.
although it doesn't really show - okay, it really shows - lukas is quite protective of his friends and his sisters. yes, his sisters. even though they're older, he wants nothing but the best of them, and hates any guy they just so happen to talk to. okay, so he doesn't hate every single guy his sisters talk to, but he's less inclined to want to befriend them, or talk to them. he usually just avoids those guys all together, which isn't really like him. whenever he gets the chance, he will get his sisters small things, such as candy from hogsmeade, or something along those lines, and will send the items to them through owls, or slip them into their bags when they're eating lunch, or some such, just to be nice. of course, his sister's don't know it's him, otherwise the effect of doing it would be ruined. he's constantly doing little things for his sisters, and would do absolutely anything for them.

,HISTORY OVERVIEW:
Oh, my history? Why do you want to know my history? Is it really that important? Well, in any case, if you want to know, I simply must tell you!
You see, it all started when my Mum and Dad met in Ireland. It was a beautiful sunny day, and all that fancy crap a person goes on about when they're reminiscing about the happiest day of their life. In Dad's case, it was the day he met Mum. And let me tell you, it's a very bad idea to ask about the day he met Mum, because he'll go on for hours about it, since it's probably the best memory he has of Mum. But in any case, they got married, which Mum's family wasn't too happy about, and they had Mae-Lin and October. Then along came me, and since I'm a boy, I couldn't exactly be named after a month, could I? Months are girly names, and giving a boy a girly name simply won't do. I heard that Mum and Dad were considering naming me Tuesday Mikael Hookum, but Dad won't tell me if that's true or not. I would have gladly changed my own name to Lukas if my name were actually Tuesday. Or maybe I'd call myself Kyle, I've always liked that name... Or perhaps Dylan, or Alexander - which could be shortened to Xander! Or maybe...
Oh, where were we? Right, my birth. A few weeks after my birth, Mum passed, and we were stuck with Dad, who turned to drinking. He must have really loved her, to resort to drinking just to drown his sorrows. I mean, just because he loved her and she died, it doesn't mean he can just go and neglect his kids so he can drown in his drinkable sorrows, right? I was just a baby, I needed my Dad. I guess we must have reminded him of Mum too much, or something like that. All I know is what Gramps told me. Gramps took us in and raised us up until Dad was fit to take us back, which was when I was four, or something like that. And let me tell you, what I do remember of it isn't all that good. To me, Dad always seemed a bit distanced. And I feel like he liked October more than Mae and me, but I guess he just paid more attention to her because she's blind and all.
I went to a muggle school up until the summer I turned eleven. I played all kinds of sports, but basketball was definitely my favorite, and I was always the starting center on the team. During my last year at muggle school, my sisters went off to Hogwarts. I wasn't overly happy about it, because I had always been kind of protective over both of them, especially October since she's blind and all. So that year they were off to Hogwarts was rather daunting and lonely, since I was closer with them than any of my friends, and I hadn't really bothered to try to become close friends with anyone since I had October and Mae. But when they left, I guess you could say that I gained a lot of close friends. I had always been pretty close with just about everyone at school, and when the twins left, the friends just rolled in.
And then I found out I was going to go to Hogwarts too. You have no idea how happy I was when I found out. It meant spending the entire school year with the twins again, something I was seriously looking forward too. So off we went to Hogwarts together that September, and lo and behold, I was sorted into Hufflepuff with October. It wasn't all that surprising, since we're kind of alike, in the whole naive sense. It's kind of sad when you can admit that you're naive, isn't it? I've always known I'm naive, but it's kind of hard to change, because you automatically block out all the bad things, mainly because you just don't realize they're there, you know?
Oh, right! We were talking about my history, not my naivety. Well, it's safe to say that my first four years at Hogwarts were poor, academically. I just don't think I was really cut out for magic, what with having such a short attention span, and being so easily distracted. I kind of zoned out a lot in my classes. But I managed to scrape an "A" in charms during fourth year, because gramps promised to get me a pet if I did it. And it was really hard, but I did it, which is something I'm totally proud of. And I think that's pretty much the gist of my history. Sorry for rambling off there on you, and if you have questions, just ask? I think that's a good thing to say... But seriously. If you have a question, I'll answer it...[/ul]

,YOURSAMPLE:
Nicholas froze where he was, praying that the branches concealed him. He should have known better than to hide in the bush when he saw his brother and the Potter girl talking. His clothes were probably a dead give away, nowhere near close in colour to the bright green of the leaves, no matter how dense the branches were. Clenching his teeth, he slowly raised an arm and carefully ran his fingers through his messily curled hair. He hated his curls, and had always wished he had hair like Lewis'. Don't you dare compare yourself to the likes of him, he thought, angry that he had even thought of wanting something Lewis had. But of course, that was the way Nick was. He had to have everything Lewis had -- in the literal sense. He took everything he could from Lewis to make his life miserable, usually suceeding.
But how could he steal someone like Lily Potter? He hated Gryffindors. He hated the Potters. Most of all, he hated the Weasleys, cousins of the Potters. So how could he steal someone he absolutely hated with all of his heart? That was a question Nick didn't want to answer. No matter how much he might hate doing it, he had to take Lily Potter from Lewis; he had to make Lewis' life miserable. And after the make-out session he had just seen between them, this would be the perfect opportunity to tear Lewis' heart apart. Nicholas grinned, glad to finally do some real damage to his brother.
He hated living in Lewis' shadow. That was the main reason he was always taking from Lewis. At home, it was always about how great Lewis was, about how amazing of a flyer he was, how great a seeker he was, how great a person he was, and as of late, how many OWLs he had gotten. It sickened Nick, knowing his father never had -- and never would -- do the same for Nick or his younger twin sister. It was like the two of them were never good enough. So, for his sisters sake, he had to get back at Lewis. He had to make it fair. And because Lewis was "such a good person", he never ratted Nick out.
So how could he get Potter from Lewis? A love potion? No, he thought idly, that wouldn't do. It would be too easy. I need something much more challenging. If they were as serious about their relationship as they appeared to be (considering Nick hadn't been able to hear what the two "love-birds" were saying), Nick knew that merely flirting wouldn't do the trick. She would spurn his advances. Unless... Of course, he thought, his smiling widening. All he had to do was find a random girl that would be willing to pose as Lewis' girlfriend for just a few minutes, enough time to try and convince Potter that Lewis was cheating on her. But who? It really needs to make an impact on her, Nick realized. She doesn't have a sister, so maybe one of her cousins. But it has to be a cousin she's really close with. Obviously.
Wracking his brains, Nicholas tried to think of as many of the female Weasleys there were at Hogwarts. There was one in Gryffindor, he knew, one in Ravenclaw, and one in Hufflepuff, but he couldn't think of any others, nor could he think of their names. The one in Gryffindor definitely seemed like a good idea. Nothing worse than finding out your boyfriend was cheating on you with your cousin, who just so happened to be in the same house as you, right?
"Perfect," he murmured lowly to himself. For fear of being heard, he continued the rest in his mind, feeling only slightly foolish for doing it. Just you wait, Lewis. I'm about to make your life a living hell.
