Shell looked to herself in the mirror. She sighed as she ran a hand down her front over her belly. A small bump had arrived and she never went to go get her abortion done. She couldn't go on her own without Spencer. Shell just couldn't do it. Even though Draven offered it wasn't the same as it wasn't his. Either way though, Shelby was now debating adoption instead. Though in her past of being pregnant four times already, her bump seemed a little larger than normal. She didn't like how the doctor teased her about it possibly being twins. That wasn't funny but with her age and Spencer's if he was the father and not some death eater, it would make sense.

She heard a loud knock on the door causing her to close her eyes. She still wore her wedding rings but she wasn't sure how she felt about it exactly. Walking down the steps, she made her way to the door and answered it. "Spencer. Come in." she said softly with a hand on her stomach. Sense he had seen her last she had gained five to seven pounds from the baby and cut her hair so it was laying two or three inches past her shoulder. "The papers came today. I'm pretty sure you just want to get this done and over." she nodded as she led him to the dining room and looked at the stack of papers he had to sign.

[/i] he thought, swallowing another lump in his throat as he stepped into his home he hadn't been inside of for a month "It would be for the best.." he said softly, as he shut the door behind him and followed her towards the dining room to where papers lay on the table.

A small part of him wanted to cringe, to scream and rage, but he held it all back as he kept the calmness on the outside, one he wasn't feeling at all on the inside. Spencer sat picked up a pen and began to sign in the proper places on the all of the papers.[/ul][/size]

Shell sighed and stood where Spencer was. She could smell his scent, sense his tension and how he felt at the moment. God, how she could detect anything about this man and she started to hate it. It's what almost fourteen years of marriage did to you, you bonded with the person whom you marry over that long period of time. Shelby moved to the calendar to see what the exact date was for her to date the papers and she bit her lip. It was their anniversary. Fourteen years to the day today. She looked to her hand and tightened her fist.

Glancing over to Spencer she reached for his hand and stopped him from signing. "Wait a second." she whispered, taking the pen from his grasp and let her other hand slither under his chin to turn his head to look her in the eyes. Gently, she placed the pen down onto the papers and looked at Spencer with a deep look of emotion. "H-Happy Anniversary.... I can't make you sign those today. I just can't." she whispered feeling her tears roll down her cheeks as she sniffled some. Right now, Shelby wanted to take him back into her arms for it to be okay. But it would show her children that it was okay for their father to treat them that way and it wasn't. It was the main reason why she wanted the divorce but it punished her as well. Speechless, she looked only to his eyes as the words, happy anniversary bounced around in her mind.

[/b] he whispered, before letting his hand fall away from her face, already missing the feel of her skin under his hand. He gripped her hand lightly to pull it away from him and opened his eyes to stare down at her "Is...Is it mine?" he asked talking about the unborn baby, as he clenched his jaw, preparing himself if it happened to be his.[/ul][/size]

Shell closed her eyes at his touch of his hand touching her cheek. The touch sent warmness down her spine and she missed it. As quickly as it came it was gone already. "Spencer. I don't want to do this either... but. The kids, they'll think it would be okay to do this to their own in the future. I just can't have that." she told him but felt her tears slide down her cheeks. His question hit a hard spot before she closed her eyes again. After all the death eaters who had used her body for sexual pleasure and gain over those six months, Spencer was the father of her baby. She was somewhat glad for this fact so the baby could know his or her father if she kept it but she still wasn't sure yet. "Y-Yes it is Spencer. The chance of that happening with everything... is so rare." she said looking back to his eyes.

Shell looked to him as he shifted at her close kiss. She so wanted to kiss him, but she figured he didn't want her to. After all, they were going to go through a divorce. She nodded calmly before she took a couple more steps closer to him. With the black shirt she had on over her bump, it hid it for the most part. She reached for the bottom of the fabric and tugged the fabric off her and set it aside. In the dark gray tank it was obvious she was pregnant. Taking his hands she set them onto her belly and sniffled a bit more as she flipped the papers over on the table. Shell didn't want to look or even think of them right now. She wanted Spencer to bond with the baby while he was here. Though the baby seemed to disagree at the moment. She covered her mouth and ran to the bathroom, throwing up into the toilet. It wasn't as before where it was stopping, this time around it was full on morning sickness.

Shell looked down to her stomach as Spencer had his hand on her stomach. She glanced to him to see the tears slide down his face. "Spencer love." she whispered, reaching up and wiping his tears away as he had done for her. But those memories were gone in a flash. She felt him kneel down beside her and held back her hair. She did appreciate it along with the rubbing of her back. It lasted easily two to five more minutes as she leaned back and felt some strands of hair plaster to her forehead as she was coated in sweat. "This is so awful." meaning not only the morning sickness but the divorce. She wiped her mouth on the back of her hand before turning to Spencer. "I'm a mess aren't I?" again, meaning the same thing as before. Her blue eyes looked into his green ones as she moved forward so she was leaning her head under his chin.

Shell closed her eyes and let him clean off her forehead and then her mouth. She let out a sigh as she pushed her hair back some and looked to the bathtub where the towel was now sitting. Seeing him smile, caused the corner of her mouth to twitch upwards. She didn't say anything but moved to his arms so he would be holding her bridal style almost. She leaned into him, just absorbing his heat and sense of being as she closed her eyes. "I do love you Spencer. Trust me I do." she whispered gently as her right hand laced with his left hand. Seeing it bare struck a chord of pain. She reached into her pocket and pulled out the metal silver band. Sliding it onto his finger she sighed. "Today is our last day together. I want. I want to be happy today. I mean, we're having a baby still Spencer. We should be happy." she said softly as her eyes remained closed.

[/i] he thought, as he swallowed a small lump and opened his eyes to look down at her, feeling a happiness to his features that he did not feel along with a calmness "I am happy." he said softly, resting his head gently onto her own.[/ul][/size]

As they sat on the bathroom floor, Shell honestly wished this moment wouldn't end. She snuggled into him and kissed his chest through the fabric of his shirt lightly as she felt his thumb rub over her belly. "They keep saying it might be two... seeing as how big I am this time." she said gently but heard a small gasp break the air. Ruby was standing in the doorway, looking down to her parents. "Momma? I thought you said that Daddy wasn't." she trailed off before walking into the bathroom and looking to the two of them. Shell moved so she was sitting up right in Spencer's lap and pulled her seven year old redhead into her lap. The little girl looked to Shell then Spencer before leaning over Shell's head to kiss Spencer's cheek. "I still love you daddy. I was sad too when momma was gone." she said softly as Shell held her daughter in her arms. "I missed her too." Everything that their youngest was saying made her heart break even more. Words were once again escaping her as she leaned back into Spencer. Maybe she shouldn't get a divorce from him. Ruby seemed to understand the circumstances but she was so young; almost naive of to what happened. "Do you forgive your daddy?" she cracked in the silence. Watching the bob of red move up and down she bit her lip as more tears fell down. She felt like she was breaking her family, breaking hearts in the process. But at the same time, she couldn't let him think it was alright to do this again.

[/b] he said softly, smiling at her as he held the two of them close to him. When he heard Shelby's question to Ruby, he tensed a bit until he saw the red bob of hair move up and down. He bit down hard on his bottom lip, she was only just a child, still innocent and naive to everything. He knew Vi probably wasn't going to forgive him and then there was Sterling and Jasper to think about as well. Would they be as forgiving as Ruby? Or would they not forgive him..would Ruby eventually come to hate him as the years go on? These thoughts were killing him and he held onto to Shelby and Ruby, wanting his family back.[/ul][/size]
