,HAIR: a little shaggy, dark brown, he pushes it back when frustrated
,EYES: Rich has large, dark brown eyes that seem to peer straight through people.
,BODY AND HEIGHT: Rich is tall, standing at 6 1, and he has a muscular build that usually isn't noticed due to his clothes.
,MARKINGS: Rich has a particularly nasty scar that goes up the back of his lower arm, and he has several smaller scars on his back.
,CLOTHING/STYLE: Rich wears one ring, but otherwise forgoes jewelry. His clothing style goes between nice robes, dingy muggle clothes when he's trying to fit in, and he has been known to don a suit or two. Rich spends a lot of time at work, and his clothing is usually picked with care, but also professional.

OVER YOUR SHOULDER YOU HAVE TO WATCH

,DISLIKES: 10+ - Voldemort, death, licorice, large bodies of water, rain, salads, the Malfoy family (he's had a run in with Lucius before,) reading, clowns, Voldemort's regime
,STRENGTHS: 5+ - not easily stressed, physically strong, a good duelist, quick thinker, charming
,WEAKNESSES: 5+ - doesn't always think things through, can be an ass, a bit of a chauvinist, rarely takes things seriously, somewhat immature
,PRIORITIES: 3+ - Rich cares about his family, he cares about the world around him and wants to save it from Voldemort, and he has a strong affinity for protecting children.
,BOGGART: 2+ - losing someone else the way he lost Ariana, Voldemort never being defeated
,ERISED: 1, to have Ariana back
,VERITASERUM: 2+ Richard would become a supporter of Voldemort if it would bring Ariana back, despite his inability to keep a relationship since Ari's death, Richard really wants a family
,PATRONUS: jackal, marrying Ariana
,PENSIEVE: finding his wife's body
,PERSONALITY OVERVIEW: Rich is generally a fun loving guy that looks no further than what his weekend plans are. To most people who meet him, he seems like a complete waste of space- he appears to have a better affection for drinking and spending time with women (only a nightly basis,) than to do anything serious with his life.
However, this is, for the most part, all a show. Rich is an auror, and a good one, but not the best. He has the ability to charm people into trusting him, and he uses this to get information that he needs to lead to catching dark wizards.
Rich has a hard time letting people in, and he would rather be seen as a party boy than someone capable of a family role- he tried that, and it blew up in his face. His wife was killed during the war, and Rich misses her every day, causing him to have a hard time seeing any woman as anything other than a means for sex because he's too afraid of getting attached and losing them.

,MOTHER: Meredith Berrie
,SIBLINGS: Adalina Barrie, Simon Barrie, Mina Barrie
,OTHER FAMILY: wife, Ariana Barrie (deceased)
,SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS: lower-middle
,HISTORY OVERVIEW: Rich had a very normal childhood- except for the fact he's the only wizard in his large family. When the time came, he was recruited to go to Hogwarts, and spent his seven years causing mischief. It wasn't until he was older that Rich started to really focus on his studies, only because he wanted to be an auror, which required good grades.
Rich earned his job as an auror, and married his schoolhood sweetheart, Ariana. They were married less than a year when death eaters killed her after breaking into his home. Rich returned to his home after work to find his wife dead, and Rich has not been the same since.
Without Ariana, Rich has reinvented himself as the playboy that makes most women roll their eyes while, at the same time, being charmed by his smooth talking and quick smile. Rich is too afraid to let women get close to him after losing Ariana, so he prefers one night stands. He still works as an auror, a job that is hard to do now that Voldemort has taken over- but Rich doesn't let that stop him.

,YOURSAMPLE:
Talbot was walking along the pier, staring balefully at the dark ocean. He couldn't sleep, his misery was not only infecting his waking hours, but also the few of respite that he was supposed to be earning during the evening.
The truths were simple, as much as he didn't want to admit it: he didn't love Petra. It wasn't that she wasn't pretty enough, he guessed. She had all the right female bits and all that, and soft black hair that rivaled his own for sheen, and she also smelled good enough, and she was a damn good cook. He was always being told how lucky he was, and at such a good bride price, too. But the second truth? The one that Talbot could never admit out loud, no matter how much he wanted to yell it from the rooftops was simply that he did not like women.
He didn't like them in any proportion to the way he felt about men. Men brought about stirrings in his body that they shouldn't, according to the authorities of Talbot's life, but there it was. There was nothing he could do, no matter how much he prayed about it, or begged the gods for help. Nothing.
The sight of his next door neighbor was more tantalizing than his soon to be wife.
Talbot kicked a loose rock into the water, letting out a sigh. There was nothing he could do now, he didn't hate Petra enough to disgrace her by suddenly dropping her offer, either. She didn't deserve that. But he didn't deserve to be unhappy, either.
Talbot was pondering this catch-22 when he heard a slight noise- the wind, perhaps?- in the background, and unsure if he had really heard it or just imagined it, he frowned and asked tentatively, "Is someone there?"
