Kathleen twirled happily down the streets of Diagon Alley waiting for Rich to hurry up. They had to do not so fun Auror duty. It was her least favorite part of being an Auror, definitely at this time in Wizard History.
She stopped at Florish and Blotts and leaned against a wall, watching everyone who was walking out. She had her hands in the pockets of her robes, fiddeling with her wand. She was ready for anything that might happen to her before Rich showed up.
She was happy that she had a partner like Rich, she made her feel a little more safe. She thought about her brother and how much she missed him as she stared into space.
She heard noise behind her and withdrew her wand, ready.

Rich had his hands jammed in his pockets as he walked down Diagon Alley, on the way to meet his partner. Rich didn't mind Kathleen, really, but she reminded him too much of Ari- too frivilous, too willing to take life at leisure. She was a good auror, he wouldn't deny that, but he always felt he had to protect her more than he would another partner, always sticking his neck out more for her...
Like he hadn't done for Ariana.
He stepped into Flourish and Blotts, his heart weary, and looked around until he caught sight of a familiar dark head.
"Kathleen." He said evenly.

Kathleen smiled when he stepped in, he reminded her so much of Anthony that she wanted to laugh. But instead she just nodded,"Hello Rich." She stared at the books and shivered, being in this store alone reminded her of Tony.
"Ready?" she asked softly, moving away from the wall and placing her wand back in her robes. She hated being out and about somedays, and today was one of those days. So she rather get this through with this as fast as she can. Usually when she is doing stuff, the time flys, and she wanted that this day.
