Kathleen had found the perfect present for her brother. A game of magical chess, she knew how much he loved chess and he had tons of boards. But none quite like this one, so she bought one and headed to her brother's house.
She had missed him fearfully and knew he probably missed her. She wrote him owls all the time, but she knew he hated those things. So she decided a nice visit would due them both some good.
As she apparated near his home, she walked the rest of his way, enjoying watching all her old neighbors. She knocked on the door and twisted the door knob. It was of course locked. "Tony it's Kathy open up."

Anthony heard the knock on his door and as he stood up to see who it was he heard his sisters loud, but beautiful voice. She looked like there mother, a lot, and she was growing up to be just like her. Loud but loving.
He flung the door open in an urge to hug her, but stopped at the box in her hand. "It better be human and not some alien crap that you buy me," he turned and walked down the hall.
No matter how much he loved little Kathy, she still upsetted him. Definitely the fact that she was a witch. Why couldn't she just be NORMAL. For god's sake.

Kathleen frowned upon his comment,"Well I guess you don't want to see what I got you then?" She slowly walked to the kitchen, lifted the garbage can lid and tossed the game away.
"I still wish you'd stop being so prejudice. I get that enough back home, I don't need this from you too."
She walked past him into the living room, and tossed herself onto the couch. "Anyways, can we play a game please." Playing a game was always keyword for needing to talk about something.
