Aldrich had to rush his essay grading to be ready in time, he even brought a couple to the bar with him in case Caileigh was late.Al got to the bar at 9:45, he likes to be early and didn't want to keep Caileigh waiting. He thought she probably would have left if he wasn't there when she got did.
He sat at the first table by the door so she could see him when she walked in. He figured she could pick a spot some where else if she wanted to. He wasn't wearing anything too extravagant; nice jeans, a white button up with a light brown vest over it, navy blue tie and nice, new sneakers. His hair was a little less shaggy than usual. Caileigh was a very attractive woman and he didn't want to make a bad impression.
After awhile Al figured he had some time so he pulled out one of his essays, one that wasn't from one of his good kids. It was only 2 paragraphs long and wasn't even on the 18th century, he immediately failed the paper and threw it into his brown leather side bag.
He looked at the clock, 10 pm, hopefully Caileigh would be showing up soon.

Caileigh sighed as she walked at a leisurely pace making her way to The Hogs Head. She was late to meet the man that she met during her mission and she didn't really care all that much. She was supposed to be there at 10 o'clock it was now around 10:30. Part of her worried that he would have left by now the other, more dominate part, didn't really care. There would be plenty of men there that she could waste her time on not just the one she was meeting. Besides, it wasn't really her fault. He had made her late to her mission. She had almost missed her target and then there would have been hell to pay. By being late, the job became just that much trickier and it had gotten messy but it had gotten done and that's all that mattered to anyone in the end really. But that wasn't what had made her late. She had to go all the way back home to change. Due to the wards up around her house, she had to walk almost a mile up her driveway in her boots. Sure she had looked fine before but her shirt had gotten a little bit of blood on it and she didn't really want to explain that to anyone. Now here she was, her heeled boots clicking against the pavement again on her way to The Hogs Head. As she approached the run down bar she raised an eyebrow. This place was a wreck and didn't look like much. 'They'd better have strong drinks' she thought shaking her head and pushing the door open. She spotted the man right away. He was, after all, at the table closest to the door, but she took a moment to scope out the room. It was mostly deserted besides a few drunken men at the bar, but it was early still for a drinking rush. Maybe more men would come later if this meeting didn't measure up to her standards. Caileigh approached the man she was meeting hoping that she would eventually remember his name. "Hello" She said pleasantly noticing the essays that were around him. After all, it was a good day, she had gotten all of her work done on time and in order and now she was going to get drunk and possibly laid. The world was alright. "Working?" She asked pulling out a seat and setting herself into it comfortably. outfit

At around 10:10 Aldrich was getting worried Caileigh was not going to show up, so he figured he would order himself an extra strong firewhiskey and start grading more papers. He started with the one he already failed, he hates failing kids so read it over to see if he was at least accurate about the 19th century. He gave him a D.
At 10:20 he ordered another drink, loosened his tie and gave up on the thought of her showing up. He had finished all of his left over essays and started to reread them, he had nothing better to do.
When Caileight finally showed up at 10:30 he did not notice her walk in the door, he was reading his last essay. He was startled when she spoke.
Looking up quickly he said " Uh, yeah, I had a few more papers to grade when I had to leave to get here. Figured I might not have time later to get them done."
He stood up to greet her and moved to pull out her chair for her but she had already sat down before he could get to it. Al thought she looked great, though he usually liked girls who wore soft colors. He moved back to his chair and threw all of his papers into his bag.
Still standing he said, "I apologize for having a couple drinks before you got here, would you like something?"

Caileigh glanced at the papers as he threw them into his bag. She was never a fan of history preferring instead to focus on the present and future. Someone else could worry about what happened in the past.
Looking back up at the man, who she had yet to remember his name, she raised an eyebrow. "A firewhisky would be nice" She said smiling as she took notice of the empty glasses. "I apologize for being so late, as you might have noticed I was doing something earlier in town and it ran a bit late." She commented lightly. She was glad that he had stayed mostly because it didn't look like there was a lot of men let alone attractive men in this pub.
However, she was also interested to talk to someone else she had known back at Hogwarts, if Kobbys reaction to her was anything to go by she had changed a lot. Caileigh knew that she had looked bad back then. Her eating disorder had developed early at Hogwarts and she knew that for most of her time there she had looked sickly but she didn't think she had looked all that bad. In fact, Caileigh thought that she was starting to look unattractively overweight again. She would have to go for a run later.

Aldrich turned to order her drink, he noticed the men at the bar staring at Caileigh. He thought they were creepy but didn't blame them. Al remembered her being sickly when they dated. She definitely filled out, and he thought that in the least creepy way possible.
When he was at the bar counter he ordered Caileigh's drink, but not too strong, he wasn't sure how strong she liked her drinks. He could always get another one if she didn't like it. 'A drink is a drink' he thought.
When he got back he asked, "Would you like to move some where else? I don't think those guys see woman often. Well, at least beautiful ones, like yourself."
Aldrich sat and realized he forgot to order himself a drink but thought it would be rude to leave her alone again.

Caileigh took another chance to look around when the man went to get her drink. She spotted some of the men further down the bar checking her out. Sighing in annoyance she lent back in her chair. If only there was better eye candy here. 'Oh well' she thought.
She took a sip of the drink the man had brought her as he sat back down. It wasn't very strong she guessed that he was worried about her not being able to handle her drink. She would just have to go get the next round and make sure her drink was stronger.
"I'm ok here but if you would feel more comfortable we can move" She said as she set her glass back on the table. She remembered that the man had been very uncomfortable when they had run into each other earlier. She was glad that he had loosened up a little bit. Maybe his drink was stronger than hers.

Al could tell she didn't like her drink all that much, she seemed to drink it with no problem. He said they had strong drinks here and she agreed to come here, why did he think he should have gotten her a weak drink? "I'm fine here, just let me know if those men over there bother you."
Al wasn't sure if he was able to defend himself from those men, but he figured if they caused Caileigh trouble she could take care of herself. Didn't seem like the 'likes her honor defended' type of girl. 'Maybe after a few drinks I would be able to' he thought.
Her not wanting to move meant he would have to wait a little long to get his next drink, it would be his fourth so it was probably better this way.
"If you don't mind me asking, what were you in such a hurry to do earlier?" Aldrich asked, "It probably isn't any of my business just curious."

Caileigh stayed quiet for a moment. He wasn't in Slytherin from what she remembered but that didn't automatically mean he wasn't a deatheater or that he was against the deatheaters. Having been gone for so long she didn't know alot of the current members so she couldn't say for sure if he was with them or against them. On the other hand, did it really matter what side he was on? They were in control currently and even if he was against them what was he going to do about it? Kill her? Turn her in? To who?
"I was working" she settled on. She wasn't lying to him not that she wouldn't if she had to but she wasn't telling him exactly what she had been up to.
Caileigh grabbed her glass and took another drink before setting it down again. She slid her jacket off of her slim shoulders and set in on the back of her chair. Turning back to the man she smirked slightly. "So how do you like teaching?" She asked crossing her legs underneath the table and taking another drink of her firewhisky.

'Vague.' Aldrich thought, this made him more curious about her line of work. He watched her drinking her firewhiskey.
"Teaching is alright," Al answered. "Some years at least. I just don't understand the thought process of some of the kids lately. I have four kids that didn't even write about the 18th century. One only wrote two paragraphs. I gave him points because it I hate failing kids, but I will be having a chat with all of them. All of them Gryfindors, of course."
He watched her again as she took her next sip, thinking of what else to say. Teaching was a boring subject and he didn't want to rant again or bore her into leaving too early. He was surprised he was speaking this much at all actually with out stammering. The firewhiskey was obviously starting to work.
"What do you do? Obviously something that pays well."

Caileigh nodded in understanding. "Gryfindors are fairly useless" She stated. In her opinion the Gryfindor house was as pointless as they came. All their talk of supposed bravery was all just bullshit. She figured to was more like stupidity that that house worked off of. She wondered why they have even kept that house around anymore. It was pointless.
She could never understand why people would willingly become a teacher. It seemed like the most boring, unrewarding profession. Of course, she didn't have a lot of room to talk without having a real job.
"It doesn't" she said thinking about her 'job.' In fact, it didn't pay anything at all really. If you didn't count all of the money Caileigh just took from her victims but that didn't really count did it. "I just come from money" she finished shrugging. Her father had enough money for her and at least the next two generations in her family to live comfortably without working.
Caileigh finished her drink in a final swig and set the glass back on the table. "Do you want another drink?" she asked the man, gesturing to the bar.

That's right, I remember now, you are from one of the richest families I've met. Why else would we have dated if neither of us were." He stated matter-of-factly. "I would love another drink."
Aldrich felt a little uncomfortable with Caileigh asking if he wanted another drink, but not surprised. He liked that she had the same few on Gryfindors. Everyone knew they were all planning to fight the dark lord at some point, hoping the next Harry Potter would show up. It was pathetic.

Caileigh nodded and pushed her chair back before standing. As soon as she got up the the bar, the bartender was already in front of her obviously having been paying attention to the fact that she was on her way up seeing as she was the only female in the bar currently. She smiled charmingly up at the man and ordered two drinks.
As she waited for the drinks to be made, Caileigh glanced around a bit. The men that were staring at her earlier were smirking at her now. She raised an eyebrow almost daring them to come up to her. One attempted to stand up and approach but sat down almost immediately as is being formed to his seat by an unseen force. Caileigh smirked before turning her attention back to the bartender who had just slammed two glasses onto the counter in front of her. He leaned towards her.
"Let me know when your sick of that lad" He said "I can show you a real good time." He finished leering at her with a creepy look in her eye. Caileigh smirked at him without a word. She would take care of this man on her way out. She decided plotting as she turned on her heels and walked back to the table. Putting the drinks on the table, Caileigh took her seat again. She pushed on drink towards the man and took the other.
